Bid accepted for CR 87 work

Mark Lee Excavating, Inc. of Alexandria was awarded the contract for the reconstruction of County Road 87 at Tuesday’s Douglas County Board meeting. The $161,873 bid was one of eight received, and came in well below the engineer’s estimate of $257,560 for the project.
