Cookbook sale raises funds to support county library 
The recent Friends of the Library used cookbook sale was a huge success. The Friends made $1,400 on the sale and the money will be used to support the library.

The Friends of the Library continue to collect used cookbooks for an upcoming sale, which is set for April 16 at the library from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Library mulls future – study says more space is needed
Douglas County library needs more room – another 20,000 square feet, in fact – to accommodate future growth, according to head librarian Patricia Conroy. A recent study says it would take about five years and cost between $10 million and $11 million for the county to build a new library.
