The Alexandria Jefferson High School Choir will take part in a music workshop to be presented by the University of Minnesota School of Music’s University Singers on Friday, April 26 at Brainerd High School.
A Brush and Palette workshop, to be held in the Carlos Town Hall April 10-12, will provide artists with an opportunity to dramatize and improve their original work. This workshop is open to the general public.
The University of Minnesota Extension Douglas County Master Gardeners invite you to their annual “Let’s Get Growing” workshop on Saturday, March 23 at Alexandria Technical College, Office and Information Technology Center. Register between 8 and 8:30 a.m. and also visit vendors and enjoy refreshments before the keynote speaker begins at 8:45 a.m.

This year, 17 youth from Douglas County attended a junior leader workshop (JLW) “Bring Out Your True Colors with 4-H” on October 18-19 at Faith Haven Camp near Battle Lake. The camp’s focus was to be proactive in developing leaders in grades 6-9.
