The Millerville Sportsmen Club, with a permit from the Department of Natural Resources Fisheries and the help of the Viking Sportsmen Club, stocked 3,700 walleye fingerlings into Lake Moses and 3,700 walleye fingerlings into Lake Aaron.
Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) fisheries biologists began an eight-year study in 2008 to determine the optimum number of walleye fry that should be stocked back into lakes where eggs are removed for stocking purposes.
The Millerville Sportsmen Club, with the help of The Viking Sportsmen and the approval of the DNR Fisheries, stocked 3,000 walleye fingerlings in Lake Moses and 3,000 walleye fingerlings in Lake Aaron on November 3.
