Their confidence is high as Minnesota state representatives plan to vote on overturning an existing same-sex marriage ban on Thursday, with senators following in a few days.
Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie announced today that more than 270,000 Minnesota voters have requested absentee ballots. Of the ballots requested, 235,205 have already been returned by the voter and accepted. Ritchie also reminded voters that the absentee ballot period ends today, November 5, for most voters.
