During the week of October 22, the Douglas County Public Health and Social Services Reception Desk will move permanently to their new location at the south end of the Douglas County Services Center, 809 Elm Street, Alexandria.
A five-county public health department is being explored by Douglas, Grant, Pope, Stevens and Traverse counties.
The Horizon Community Health Board aims to integrate three public health departments included in the five counties.
