Minneapolis-based Copper Street Brass Quintet (CSBQ) represents a new direction in chamber music. Combining classical music with jazz, pop and rock music, the CSBQ will perform at the Discovery Middle School auditorium in Alexandria on Wednesday, January 30 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The Region 8AA Band solo and ensemble contest was held Wednesday, February 15 at Sartell High School. Five schools from the region were represented in the contest: Alexandria, Sauk Rapids, Sartell, Little Falls and Brainerd.
