State Representative Paul Anderson, R-Starbuck, was endorsed March 17 as the Republican candidate for Minnesota House of Representatives in the new District 12B.
This endorsing convention took place in Starbuck along with the conventions for House District 12A and Senate District 12.
After an hour and a half of deliberation Wednesday, a Douglas County jury found John Leslie Anderson guilty of four counts of felony assault and two counts of misdemeanor assault for an incident involving an iguana.
Do we realize how fortunate we are here in Alexandria? To be able to spend Thursday evenings on the Douglas County Courthouse lawn and enjoy some of the finest entertainment and at the same time enjoy nature at its finest.
The voters of Douglas County Commissioner District 4 have spoken.
They selected incumbent Paul Anderson and challenger Arlan Kakac in Tuesday’s primary. Both their names will appear on the general election ballot in November.
