Earlier today in federal court in St. Paul, a 49-year-old Minneapolis
man, previously dubbed by law enforcement as “the man-in-black bank robber,” pleaded guilty to five bank robberies that occurred in Minnesota between March 9, 2011, and January 3, 2012.
Three suspects from Alexandria were arrested Friday following a three-month prescription pill sales investigation by the West Central Minnesota Narcotics Task Force and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Trees are being stolen from Pioneer Park and Moe’s Heights Cemetery south of Brandon.
Forty to 50 trees, all evergreens, were planted on the cemetery site a couple of years ago and between eight and 10 of them were stolen just last week.
