Fatherly advice: Alexandria program offers parental guidance in West Central region
When one door closes, another opens. In this case, the open door will help fathers be a bigger part of their children’s lives. Wings in Alexandria has preserved the Otter Tail County Father’s Project by consolidating the program with the non-profit organization’s existing Father’s Support program and creating the West Central Father’s Resource Project. The service previously provided in Otter Tail County has been discontinued.

United Way of Douglas and Pope Counties recently added three new members to the United Way Board: Bill Finley, Kellie Janssen and Becky Zwilling. Finley, the CFO at Tastefully Simple, has previously served on United Way’s board. He has also been active in and served on other boards involving AAHA, GAIN, Alexandria Area Community and Technical College, District 206 and St. Mary’s Church.
