Klimek charged with three counts of murder
An Alexandria man was charged with murder in Douglas County District Court in Alexandria on Tuesday. Kody Lee Klimek, 25, of Alexandria is accused of fatally stabbing Phillip Joel Altstadt on Saturday, June 1. Altstadt, 28, of Alexandria died on the lawn outside Lincoln Estates apartments in Alexandria. Klimek is being held in Douglas County Jail on a $1 million bond. He faces conviction for three felony murder charges.
