Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County (HFHDC) will hold a warehouse sale this Saturday, July 21 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Items at the sale will include cabinets, trim, interior and exterior doors, windows, sinks, furniture and some miscellaneous items.

A new program, Thrivent Builds Repairs, is helping low-income homeowners spruce up their homes and neighborhoods. The program, a partnership between Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and Habitat for Humanity International, is launching across the country in July and will concentrate on upgrading existing homes in partnership with low-income homeowners.
