The column contained plenty of insults and ridicule directed at those who might have a different viewpoint. The radical left would be so proud of Dalman’s clever mastery of those Saul Alinsky tactics of intimidation. Alinsky himself would have marveled at his ability to avoid references, evidence and facts to support his emotional outrage.

As the Minnesota Nutritious Food Coalition was celebrating its first year of working to increase participation in the state’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the federal government was in the midst of plans to decrease funds that support the educational component of SNAP.
