Pups in Millerville Township have a new spa but horses in Hudson won’t be gaining ground. Douglas County commissioners approved a conditional use permit for John and Kathleen Bakken to operate a water therapy and grooming business for dogs in Millerville. The planning and zoning commission was unanimously not in favor of a conditional use permit to allow horses in the residential shoreland zoning district on Susan and Bennie Hedstrom’s property in Hudson.
