Wheels are rolling ahead for older adults in Alexandria. The Knute Nelson Foundation was recently awarded a $33,286 grant from the UCare Fund. It will help introduce an innovative biking program that will assist older adults by matching varying needs and abilities with appropriate bicycles and encouraging focus on active aging and prevention techniques that empower individuals to lead healthy lifestyles.
