Stolen guns, drugs found in bust
Stolen guns and marijuana were turned up in a drug bust in Osakis on January 28. According to the West Central Narcotics Task Force, a search warrant was issued at 11 West Main Street in Osakis, where officers recovered two stolen guns, marijuana, scales, packaging supplies and $2,310 in cash near the drugs.

2012 was a year of new beginnings and tragic endings in Douglas County. The year marked the start of construction on a new Alexandria high school. Students at Alexandria Technical and Community College also moved into a new home, Foundation Hall, the college’s first on-campus housing facility.
