  • Junior goalkeeper Sarah Bruzek made a diving stop during the first half of Alexandria’s Class A state tournament game against The Blake School last Thursday night.   • Senior midfielder Becca Illies beat Blake’s Maya Coyle to the ball as she cleared it out of bounds to avoid a scoring opportunity for the Bears.   • Madison Forsell returned a ball toward the Kimball defense during Section 5A-Southwest volleyball playoffs last Thursday. The Silverstreaks had claimed the overall Prairie Conference championship with a five-set victory over Upsala earlier that week. Lori Mork, Echo Press
