First Congregational United Church of Christ will host another "Sock Drop" street dance on Tuesday, June 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. located in the church parking lot between 6th and 7th avenues off Elm Street in Alexandria. The dance will help benefit the Douglas County Salvation Army. Sabrina of Sound Force DJ Service will provide music along with Jennifer Maloney, Runestone Rockettes and local youth. Admission is a donation of new socks or personal care items for the homeless. If anyone cannot attend, donations may be dropped off at the church. (Contributed photo)
