  • The Jefferson High School (JHS) Choral Program will receive a commendation from the American Choral Director’s Association (ACDA) of Minnesota in observance of the organization’s 50-year anniversary. Dr. Stephen Fuller will make a brief presentation near the end of the JHS Spring Concert, which is set for Wednesday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the JHS gymnasium. Murrae Freng, who served as director of the program from 1952 to 1965 and was a founding member of the ACDA of Minnesota, and Les Dehlin, who served from 1965 to1987, attended a choir rehearsal last week.
