Mark J. Illetschko, 87, Shakopee, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. Mark was born April 3, 1925 in Belle River Township, Douglas County, the son of Stephen and Catherine (Trisko) Illetschko.

Mark was born April 3, 1925 in Belle River Township, Douglas County, the son of Stephen and Catherine (Trisko) Illetschko.

Mark worked as a heavy equipment operator for Ames Construction for more than 35 years. He was a Local 49 and a member of the Chaska American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; parents; and eight siblings.

Survivors include his daughters, Sandra and Pamela Illetschko; brother, Ambrose Illetschko; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4 at 11:30 a.m. at McNearney Funeral Home, 1220 East Third Avenue, Shakopee. Officiating will be the Rev. Alan Naumann. Honorary pallbearers are Jim and BJ Landaas, Aaron and Nathan Landaas, and Jonathan and Maria Doucette. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 3, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Tuesday from 11 to 11:30 a.m., all at McNearney Funeral Home.
