Jamie Clifford Olson, 34, West Fargo, ND, died Friday, September 14 at his home.
Jamie was born March 4, 1978 in Detroit Lakes to Gerald and Glennis (Hovelson) Olson. He was raised and educated in Frazee and, for many years had a Fargo Forum paper route. He is a 1996 graduate of Frazee High School and then attended North Dakota State University in Fargo.
Jamie was united in marriage to Jodi Vliem on October 23, 2004 in Alexandria. They made their home in Fargo, where he worked for Cellular Communications, Sears and for the past 11 years, for Microsoft.
Jamie enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Rylee, fishing, going for bike rides, time outdoors and fixing his mother-in-law’s remote. He was also an avid Minnesota Twins fan.
Survivors include his wife, Jodi, of Fargo; his daughter, Rylee, of Fargo; mother, Glennis Olson of Detroit Lakes; father, Gerald Olson of Moorhead; three sisters, Amy (Chris) Ryan of East Grand Forks, Angie (Jeff) Richardson of Bull Head City, AZ and Tammy (Steve) Alvarez of Bull Head City, AZ.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 18 at Grace Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes with the Rev. Rob Nelson officiating. Interment was at Heglund Lutheran Cemetery in rural Lake Park.
