Dorothy Nelson, 89, Alexandria, died September 16, 2012.
A celebration of life service will be held Thursday, September 20 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria; www.andersonfuneral.net.

To the family of Dorothy Nelson, I am so sorry for the loss of your loved family member. I pray the memories you have will help get you through this difficult time. I have such great memories of your mom and dad and all the reunions we had at their place in Alexandria. There was so much love in that home...I could just feel it. We always had tons of food, great stories and lots and lots of fun. Your mom was so sweet and always had a smile on her face.
