James F. Wegscheider, 64, died August 3, 2012 at Knute Nelson in Alexandria.

Jim was born in St. Paul on September 18, 1948, the son of Wallace and Dolores (Simons) Wegscheider. He graduated from Washington High School in St. Paul.
He was united in marriage to Lynn Lindick on March 16, 1968.
During his working career, he worked for a period of time at the Ford Company in St. Paul, and as a salesman in the auto industry. He also owned his own business, IPC Sport and Screen.
Following his retirement, he was married to Sue Schneiderhan on January 26, 2011.
Jim enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and four-wheeling.
Jim is survived by his wife, Sue Wegscheider of Carlos; mother, Dolores Wegscheider of Roseville; daughters, Andrene (John) Mathiesen of North St. Paul, and Kristann (Jamie) Zimmerman of Miltona; sister, Cindy Shelley of Little Canada; grandchildren, Libby, Abbie, KatieLynn, Daniel, Michael, Briel, Ava and Brynn; brothers-in-law, Jerry (Nancy) Schmidt, Paul Schmidt, Ron Schneiderhan and Chris Hobbs; sisters-in-law, Jill Rasmussen, Jan (Patrick) Lindquist, and Melissa (Andy) Taylor; nephews, Justin, Brian, Tyler, Ryan, Alec, Patrick, Robbie, Cam, Eric, Dustin, Nathan, Will and Taylor; nieces, Chelsea, Nicki and Staci; sons-in-law, Richard (Trista) Johnson, Ron Schneiderhan and Chris (Patty) Hobbs; and daughter-in-law, Sarah (Darren) Gourley.
Jim was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of Jim’s life was held Thursday, August 9 at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jim Oakland officiating. Honorary pallbearers were Daniel Zimmerman, Michael Zimmerman, Tyler Schmidt, Ryan Schmidt, Alec Schmidt and Patrick Schmidt, Justin Shelley and Brian Shelley.
