Rocky Lund, 26

Rocky Paul Lund, 26, born in Alexandria, died Friday, August 3, 2012 in a car accident in Nisswa.

A wake will be held Friday, August10 starting at 4 p.m. and continuing throughout the evening, with a memorial service on August 11 at 11:30 a.m., both being held at the Chippewa County Park in Brandon.

Rocky was born August 26, 1985. When he was old enough, he joined his parents and became a part of the family business. He traveled all over the United States, painting water towers with his dad and the crew and making friends in every town he went to.

Everyone who knew him loved his huge heart, great sense of humor and ability to find the good in any situation. In his free time, Rocky enjoyed spending time with his family and friends doing the things he loved most, like hunting, canoeing, camping and most of all, fishing!

Rocky is survived by his parents, Monte and Nancy Lund; great-grandparents, Charlie and Hulda Rossum; grandparents, Dennis and Colleen Lund and Betty Wirtjes; his sisters, Amber, Leah and Lindsay; his nieces and nephew, Kiyah, Deven and Bella; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
