Marvin Lewis Schwardt, 77, died peacefully on June 6, 2012 surrounded by his family.
Marvin was born on February 25, 1935 in Blue Earth County, the son of John and Alvina Schwardt.
Marvin was married to Shirley Jobe on November 7, 1956. With this union, they were blessed with three sons.
Marvin is survived by his wife, Shirley; three sons, Richard (Carolyn) Schwardt and Allen (Hanna) Schwardt, both of Alexandria, and David Schwardt of Evansville; grandchildren, Mike (Angie) Schwardt, Tasha (Kyle) Baker, Sheila Schwardt, Jonas (Jenny) Schwardt, Sharaya Schwardt and Shawn Schwardt; great-grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Kalib, Elisha and Christian Schwardt and Morgan and Erika Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Raymond.
A private family memorial service was held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the family farm.
