Tim was born to Rollin and Carol Berglund on January 25, 1963 in Minneapolis. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Anoka.
Tim is survived by his son, Stephen; his mother, Cristina Scalzo; also by his parents, Rollin and Carol Berglund of Alexandria; siblings, Karen (Rick) Small, John Berglund, Jim (Carol Sherwood) Berglund, Margo (John) Suhr, and Larry (Dawn) Berglund. He had many nieces and nephews. Tim was close to his friend, Cindi.
Tim lived in Coon Rapids. He is a former member of Glaziers Local 1324. Tim was employed by Mystic Lake Casino.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in Alexandria in 1981. Tim was a member of the Turtle Lake Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, Belcourt, ND.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard (Agnes) St. Arnaud, grandfather Roy Berglund, grandmother Clarice Yerigan; Uncle LaVerne (Buzz) St. Arnaud; and Nephew Jeffrey Small.
Tim will always be remembered as mom’s favorite and as our beloved little brother. When we think of Tim, we see his beautiful smile, laughter, sense of humor and kind heart. Tim will be missed forever by all who knew and loved him.
A memorial service was held on Monday, June 11 at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria.
