Celestine “Sally” Frances Debilzen, 76, Vining, died Sunday, May 27, 2012 at Peaceful Bliss in Alexandria.

Celestine was born December 4, 1935 to George and Eleanor (Pinkowski) Suchy in Parkers Prairie. She was raised in Leaf Mountain Township near the Millerville/Urbank area, where she attended Millerville Catholic School through the eighth grade. She was baptized and confirmed at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville.

Following her education, she worked a few years for Clarence and Elizabeth Dorn. She was united in marriage to Raymond Bernard Debilzen on September 28, 1954 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville. Shortly after being married, Sally’s parents died. Sally and Ray became parents to Sally’s younger siblings along with starting a family of their own.

Sally was a member of both Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. She enjoyed gardening, her many flowers, feeding birds, baking, quilting, scrap booking, Saturday night dances and card parties. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Sally is survived by eight sons, Mike (Yvonne) Debilzen of Alexandria, Chuck (Cathy) Debilzen and Tom (Carolyn) Debilzen, both of Parkers Prairie, Pat (fiancée, Melissa Senior) Debilzen of Vining, Don (Bonny) Debilzen of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Cliff (Shollie) Debilzen of Garfield, Paul (Julie) Debilzen of Parkers Prairie and Greg (Anita) Debilzen of Alexandria; a daughter, Jen (fiancé, Josh Head) Storey of Alexandria; three brothers, Henry “Hank” (Pat) Suchy of Harris, Marvin (Janice) Suchy of Brandon and Kenny (Grace) Suchy of Miltona; three sisters, Bernice (friend, Darold) Daas, Marcine Suchy and Barb (Ralph) Tvrdik, both of Alexandria; three sisters-in-law, Mary Suchy of Parkers Prairie, Millie (Ardean) Kluver of Nelson and Mary Debilzen of Madison, Wisconsin; 32 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two pending great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; granddaughter, Amber Debilzen; Greg Thoennes; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cyril Daas, Joe Debilzen, Tony Suchy, Ray and Catherine Wagner; along with numerous aunts and uncles.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Thursday, May 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Urbank with the Rev. Fr. LeRoy Scheierl officiating. Music was provided by the church choir and vocalist, Yvonne Debilzen. Burial was at the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were her children. Honorary pallbearers were her grandchildren.
