Jeanne Marie Neidenfeur, 83, of Austin, Minnesota, formerly of LeRoy and Alexandria, died peacefully on May 7, 2012 in Austin.
Jeanne Marie Neidenfeur, 83, of Austin, Minnesota, formerly of LeRoy and Alexandria, died peacefully on May 7, 2012 in Austin.
She was born February 27, 1929 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Annabelle Proulx. She married James Neidenfeur in 1948.
She was always creative and generous, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved reading, traveling and being with her friends and family.
Jeanne is survived by seven children, Terry (Robin) Niedenfuer, (Brian) Kathy Schonning, Mark (Joy) Niedenfuer, (Reed) Leslie Johnson, Dan (Laurie) Neidenfeur, Dave (Nina) Niedenfuer, and Gary Neidenfeur; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roland (Jack) Proulx; and husband, Jim.
There will be a private family service and burial at Fort Snelling Cemetery in Minneapolis.
