Nancy was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on February, 24, 1933. She attended St. Martin’s Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1951. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company in Winona.
Nancy was united in marriage to Donald James Jordan on October 28, 1952. The couple was married for 52 years and for 32 of them, Don was a State Trooper. The couple lived in St. James and Alexandria. Nancy stayed at home with her five children, Kathleen, Donald, Paul, Suzanne and Patricia.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Nancy also loved to read and travel. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
Nancy is survived by her five children, Kathleen Jordan of Seattle, WA, Donald J. (Jolene) Jordan of Prior Lake, Paul R. (Juli) Jordan of Brooklyn Park, Suzanne (Joseph) Mulville of Alexandria, Patricia (Douglas) Becker of Thief River Falls; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 2004; parents, J. Ernest and Linda (Wegner) LeBeau; infant brother, Roger; sisters, Winifred Firth and Dorothy (Witt) Grosvold.
Memorial services were held on Saturday, May 5 at Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria with the Rev. Marilee Bergerson officiating. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Michael, Jason, Josh, Jordan, Sean, Christopher and William. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
