Paul C. Peterson, born June 17, 1919 in Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 92 on March 16, 2012.

Paul C. Peterson, born June 17, 1919 in Minneapolis, passed away peacefully at home at the age of 92 on March 16, 2012.

Paul married Carolyn on September 23, 1950.

Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Cortland Albert Peterson, and sister, Delight White.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn C. Peterson; his four children, Cory Peterson, Michael (and Rose Judge) Peterson, Mark (and Greta Pratt) Peterson, and Susan (and Dan Daily) Peterson; and seven grandchildren, Sean, Matthew, Christopher, Jack, Axel, Carolyn and Rose.

Paul served in the United States Army in World War II. Paul was one of the founders of Country Club Markets and worked there for 37 years. He was an avid singer (member of the Commodores barbershop chorus), golfer and fisherman (retired in Alexandria to their lake home on West Lake Carlos until moving to West Milford, NJ in 2004), dancer, card player, and a lover of life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Presbyterian Church, Ringwood, NJ; Simpson United Methodist Church, Minneapolis, MN; United Methodist Church, Alexandria, MN.
