Cherryl Martell, 43

Cherryl Kay Anderson Martell, 43, of Brandon died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the St. Cloud Hospital as the result of a car accident near Brandon, Minnesota.

Cherryl Kay Anderson Martell was born December 30, 1968, in Minneapolis. She was baptized and confirmed at Faith Lutheran Church in Evansville and attended Evansville High School. She then received a degree in practical nursing from Alexandria Technical School.

Cherryl enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with her family. She was a member of Christina Lake Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her parents, Luther and Ardelle Anderson of Evansville; her children, Jessica Anderson and Alexander Martell both of Leaf Valley and Anna Martell of Evansville; a grandson, Dillon Stewart; two brothers, Dennis (Jeanette) Anderson of Sebeka and Timothy (Bernice) Anderson of Evansville; special friend, Ted Salto; nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Burton and Margaret Anderson and Herman and Alice Johnson; niece and nephews Christine and Christopher Anderson.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, March 13 at Christina Lake Lutheran Church, rural Evansville with Reverend Dr. Rollen Halvorson officiating. Interment was at the Christina Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery.
