Irene MacIver Magnuson, 94, of Alexandria, MN, and formerly of Lowry, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Douglas County Hospital in Alexandria. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 12, in the Governor's Room at Nelson Gables located on the Knute-Nelson campus, in Alexandria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment in Norunga Lutheran Cemetery will follow the ceremony. Arrangements are with Hoplin-Hitchcock Funeral Home of Glenwood.
