Marjorie Emelia (Sorenson) Livdahl born January 21, 1928 was released to her Maker on February 28, 2012.

Marjorie Emelia (Sorenson) Livdahl born January 21, 1928 was released to her Maker on February 28, 2012.

Born in Minneapolis, the daughter of Fred and Louise (Werth) Sorenson, she was the youngest of seven. Marge was active in all areas of the church. She enjoyed making baby layettes for the mission fields, attending Circle and making quilts for Lutheran World Relief. Marge was employed at the nursing home in Rushford and the school system in White and Toronto, South Dakota. She was always up before dawn creating amazing fresh bread and pastries for everyone to enjoy! Marge was a wonderful cook, avid reader, oil painter, good seamstress and enjoyed knitting. She was a good mother who did a great job taking care of her family. She loved her family and friends and always had a big heart, kind word and beautiful smile for everyone.

Marge is preceded in death by brothers, Arthur and Victor; sisters, Mable, Evelyn and Delores.

Marge is survived by her sister, Mildred, of Minneapolis. Marge is also survived by her husband, Ralph; son Rodne and Marsha; grandchildren, Joshua and Andrew; and great-grandson, Colton, all living in Arizona. Marge is also survived by her loving daughter, Colleen Ellerbroek; grandchildren, Leah (Ellerbroek) Benson and husband, Jesse Benson, Joel Ellerbroek and wife, Mandi (Vi) Ellerbroek; great-grandchildren, Kaleah Ellerbroek, Hunter and Kaiden Bunde.

Extended family and years of friends will deeply miss her and yet rejoice in her freedom from pain and suffering. Marge was an active Hospice member and in turn was nurtured by Hospice in her final weeks. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and wife, Marge departed peacefully. Marge’s loving daughter, Colleen, was blessed to have been by her side as she made her journey home.
