Kenneth “Kenny” L. Wittnebel, 82, Alexandria, peacefully passed away on January 13, 2012.

Kenneth “Kenny” L. Wittnebel, 82, Alexandria, peacefully passed away on January 13, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott; brother, Howard; and parents, Arthur and Viola.

Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Vivian (nee Johnson); sons, Keith (Marta) of Medford, Oregon, and Lee of Oakridge, Oregon; daughters, Renee (Vic Jacobson) and Deborah (Mike Semen); 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Kenny was a longtime member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, served as a union steward, and was proud to have driven more than 1 million miles. He will be remembered for his storytelling, sense of humor and laughter.

Memorial services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 300 Lake Street, Alexandria on Saturday, February 4 at 11 a.m. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
