Karen Elizabeth Hepper Common was born September 8, 1949, and died December 26, 2011. She was 62.

She is survived by her three children, April, Mike and Lindsay; four grandchildren; sister, Jaci Bateman; nieces and nephews; as well as her longtime love, David Lario.
She was born in Fargo, North Dakota to Alex and Letietia Hepper. Karen graduated from Alexandria High School in 1967. She moved to Livermore, California in 1969, where she raised her family and worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory until she retired two years ago and moved to Oakdale, California.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David and sister, Vicki.
Arrangements were with Callaghan Mortuary in Livermore, California; (925) 447-2942.
