Richard was born May 27, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved with his family to Sioux Falls at an early age. He grew up in Sioux Falls, where he received his education, graduating from O’Gorman High School in 1977.
Following graduation, Dick became a small business owner in Minnesota, but returned to South Dakota in 2007.
Grateful for having shared his life are his daughter, Rebecca Auld, of Carlos; his sister, Patricia (Rick) Auld Dobbe, of Piedmont, SD; and his brothers, Steven (Sandy) Auld of Van Horne, IA and Thomas (Mary Ann) Auld of Minneapolis.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial visitation was held Sunday, October 9 at Miller Funeral Home in Sioux Falls.
