Dennis Grimm, 56

Dennis Carl Grimm, 56, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 24 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carlos with Vicar Philip Peterson officiating.

Born in Alexandria, Dennis moved to the south 22 years ago and has been living in Marietta, Georgia for the last 19 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Graphic Packaging as a senior design engineer. He was an avid lover of the outdoors.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Grimm; daughters, Stephanie Grimm of Milledgeville, GA, Jennifer Grimm of Marietta, GA and Katherine Grimm of Dallas, TX; mother, Christine Steidl of Carlos; father, Darold Grimm of New Brighton; and siblings, Belinda Pearson of Parkers Prarie, Kevin Grimm of Brooklyn Park, Scott Grimm of Pace, FL and Debra Grimm Seagraves of Hague, Netherlands.

The family will receive friends at Trinity Lutheran Church in Carlos on Tuesday, August 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1825 Barrett Lakes Blvd, Ste 280, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
