Nicole Lynn Benson, 27, Sauk Rapids, died January 29, 2011 in Sauk Rapids.
Nicole was born September 29, 1983 in Long Prairie. She attended Clarissa elementary schools and attended high school in Alexandria. She received her G.E.D. and began college classes in St. Cloud where she was a full-time student.
Nicole was a kind-hearted woman who constantly gave more than she had. She was a benefactor to the homeless shelter and other causes. She was a terrific mother to her daughter, Astrid.
She is survived by her daughter, Astrid; mother, Tracy (Don) Wilkins of Carlos; father, William Kraig Benson of Clarissa; sisters, Jessica Lee Einan of Lino Lakes and Rachael Marie Budewitz of St. Paul; half-sister, Kelsey Benson; nephews, Brendan Einan and Natas Budewitz; and niece, Leona Budewitz.
Memorial services for Nicole were held on Friday, February 4 from Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria with the Rev. John Martinson officiating.
