Wilfred Revering, 87

Wilfred “Bill” P. Revering, 87, Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully December 26, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Alex; sisters, Alvera Cortesi and Florence Huro.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sylvia; sons, Wilfred (Julia), Bernie (Sue), Ron (Shirley), Patrick J., Tom (Julie), Fred (Marne), and Jeffrey (Sue); 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; brother, Roman; sister, Penny (Eddie) Heinz; and brother-in-law, Clarence Huro.

Bill was a World War II Army veteran and past VFW member. He was a Knight, usher and Stephen Minister at St. Timothy’s, and a Meals on Wheels volunteer. Bill was a master mechanic and expert welder.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, January 3 at Church of St. Timothy’s in Blaine. Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Caring and Sharing Hands, Minneapolis.
