Evelyn “Evie” Marie Peterson, 101, died November 27, 2010 at Bonnie’s Senior Haven in Alexandria.
Evie was born June 27, 1909 in Maywood Township to Andrew and Ellen Wager. Evie attended school at 33 North grade school in Oak Park and Tech High School and Business College in St. Cloud.
Evie was married to Kermit Peterson on September 24, 1939. They lived a full life together in Wisconsin, Arizona, Wyoming and Alexandria. She loved getting together with her family for Swedish meals and especially the dumpling parties. Evie was an excellent seamstress, bird watcher, baker, writer and always a good listener. She loved a good story and was good natured and patient and kind to everyone she met.
Evie was preceded in death by her husband, Kermit; sisters, Eunice and Lorraine; and one brother, Donald.
She is survived and will be missed by her brother, Edsel and his wife, Carol; and by many nieces and nephews and many friends.
A memorial service for Evelyn will be held at Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin on Saturday, December 4. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. She will be interred at Oak Grove Cemetery in Webster.

Memorials are preferred to Audubon Society or charity of donor’s choice.
