Eleanor Mabel Bullick, 91, of Minnesota and California, died March 27, 2010.

Eleanor Mabel Bullick, 91, of Minnesota and California, died March 27, 2010.

Eleanor grew up on farms in the Isanti and Bock areas and moved to Minneapolis at age 14 to work as a domestic servant. At age 22, Eleanor married Albert Bullick, and she and Albert farmed in the Cyrus, Alexandria and Farwell area for 25 years. In 1967, Eleanor and Albert moved to Coon Rapids.

After the passing of her husband, Eleanor moved to Visalia, California, and lived with family there.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Albert, and infant daughter, Sandra Jean.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Ann (Dennis) Postma of Pierre, SD; Patricia Bullick of Coon Rapids; Barbara (Doug) Frye, Burnsville; Mary (Les) Spinner, Oklahoma City, OK; Ralph (Peggy) Bullick, Anoka; Ray (Barbara) Bullick, Visalia, CA; Bruce (Kristi) Bullick, Lakeside, TX; and Rebecca Bullick, Visalia, CA; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, Chris (Carla) Postma, MN; Betsy (Keith) Peterson and their children, Bennett and Jetta, WA; Brian and Jeff Frye, MN; Andrew (Corinne), AK and Jonathan Bullick, MN; Kristi (Chris) Mellow and their child, Hannah; Samuel Bullick; Alan and Staci Ann Bullick, TX.

The family wishes to express its gratitude to the staff of the Delta Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for all the care and compassion Eleanor received.

Services were held in Visalia, California on March 30.

Services will be held in Minnesota on Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m. at Gearhart Funeral Chapel in Coon Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids.
