Ralph Daniels, 71, Alexandria, died March 13, 2010 at Knute Nelson.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 19 at 1 p.m. at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Nelson.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria; www.andersonfuneral.net.

Ralph's AHS 1956 classmates will miss him. He was a quiet, unassuming man who flew 238 sorties during two tours of 'Nam. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross for close quarters support of the ground troops. A couple of years ago, he told me that he was glad to not get two medals: 1) No purple heart because a person gets hurt to receive that medal and 2) No medal of honor because those are mostly posthumous awards.
