Wayne Henry TerEick, age 70, of Alexandria and formerly of the Montevideo area, died February 19, 2010 in Alexandria.
Services were conducted Saturday, February 27 at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel in Montevideo. Interment was at Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens.
Wayne was born January 21, 1940 to Henry and Ruth (Connor) TerEick. He grew up in Montevideo and attended Montevideo public schools. He moved to Minneapolis, where he worked for a number of years at Charies Café. He moved to Alexandria, where he has lived for more than 30 years. He enjoyed country music, collecting miniature cars and spending time with his girlfriend.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Reinke of Granite Falls; nephew, Brad Reinke; three nieces, Laura Lovhaug, Barb Reinke and Lisa Reinke; a number of great-nieces and great-nephews; and his girlfriend, Janice Karger of Alexandria.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbra TerEick; and a nephew, Robert Reinke.
