George Meehl, 89

George Edward Meehl, 89, passed peacefully on November 26, 2009.

He was born December 15, 1919 in Minneapolis to John and Mary (Sheppard) Meehl. He was a long-time resident of Bloomington.

After graduating from high school he enlisted into the United States Army Air Corps 8th Air Force.

George is survived by his son, Gerry (Gail) Meehl of Seattle, WA; daughters, Lynn (Don) Swanson of Garfield, Lee (Vern) Lesmeister of Bloomington; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Caryl Meehl; parents; and three brothers.

Private graveside services will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
