Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 24 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 4 p.m. and a Daughters of Isabella Rosary following the prayer service at Anderson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.

Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria; www.andersonfuneral.net.

Dear Jan, Chris, Deb, Mary and Robbie....and all the grands, I received this poem from a friend when Billy died and I hold this true for him and Aunt Izzy too: Some people make a difference just by being who they are, Their inner light shines bright and touches lives both near and far, And even when they're gone, they still forever play a part in the smiles, the priceless moments, that are treasured in the hear. I tell you this in memory and in celebration of Izzy who made this world a brighter and better place for me, and for many others. God Speed, Izzy- I know the celebration in Heaven upon your arrival is HUGE! I'm so glad we were together to celebrate her 90th birthday. My love and sympathy to you all, Love, Patty
