Aldrich was born September 3, 1921 at home in Evansville to Carl and Tillie (Olson) Olson. He was baptized and confirmed at Christina Lake Lutheran Church and graduated from Evansville High School in 1940.

Aldrich and Lorraine Marie Johnson were married on January 21, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was employed with the Carlson Construction Company of Evansville all of his life. Allie enjoyed fishing, gardening, cutting wood and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; is survived and loved by five step-children; 14 step-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; one brother, Willard Olson of Evansville; one sister, Evelyn Satnan of Minneapolis; and by numerous relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Tillie Olson; and by his first wife, Arlette Olson.

Funeral services were held September 10 at Christina Lake Lutheran Church in rural Evansville with the Rev. Ken Thiele officiating. Burial was at Christina Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery.
