Edna M. Borgeson, 95, Alexandria, formerly of Minneapolis, died February 25, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard B. Borgeson; her parents; three sisters; one brother; and a daughter-in-law.
Edna is survived by a daughter, Arlene (Richard A.) Johnson of Alexandria; son, Dale M. Borgeson of Bloomington; grandchildren, Karna (Jim) Peters, Eric (Maria) Johnson, Kirk Johnson, Erin (Bill) Castelli, Ruth (Jamie) Everett and John Borgeson; 11 great-grandchildren; three nieces and two nephews.
Edna was an avid reader, excellent bridge player and followed current events. Her family would like to thank the staff and members of Arabella Manor for making the last three years of her life so happy.
A memorial service will be held in Minneapolis later this spring. Memorials are preferred to Mount Carmel Ministries.
