Jean was born September 8, 1940 in Redwood Falls, the daughter of Elmer and Esther (Bell) Puff. Jean was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. She attended school in the Redwood Falls school system and moved to Alexandria with her family in the 1970s.
She was employed with a cleaning service and enjoyed cleaning homes, also doing babysitting jobs. While not working, Jean completed her requirements for a high school diploma and graduated with the 1998 class of Alexandria High School, wearing her cap and gown.
She is survived by her sister, Janet (Chris) Winges of Milbank, SD; brother, John (Janet) Puff of Duluth; nieces, Theresa, Heather and Kristen; nephews, David and Matt; and several great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Monday, March 11 at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Neumann officiating. Greg and Connie Wales provided the music.
Interment was at Kinkead Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kristen Winges, Heather Winges, John Puff, David Puff, Jerry Platz and Chris Winges.
