Irene Lundquist, 95, Rose City, died February 19, 2013 at her home.

Irene Lundquist, 95, Rose City, died February 19, 2013 at her home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23 at 11 a.m. at Rose City Evangelical Free Church.

Visitation is Friday, February 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.

Arrangements are with Anderson Funeral Home in Alexandria; www.andersonfuneral.net.

Barb and Brian Klaas. Arizona We called her Hoey, my mom Hazel's only sister. She is reunited in heaven now with my mom and dad, Hazel and Murray Rounds and Uncle Rufus. There was always a great sense of excitement pulling into her stately farmstead and staring in awe at the delphiniums along the fence. Her legacy is one of love of nature, dedication to hard work, and most of all love of family and her God. We loved her very much!

There are few people who have walked this earth that I have loved anymore than my dear Aunt Irene. She, along with her sister, Hazel, my late mother, instilled in me a real appreciation for not only the beautiful things of the earth and its bounty,but for the beautiful things in the hearts of people.. Her laugh and smile will be remembered forever. The angels welcome a beautiful soul. Connie
