Edwinna Bunnell Rosholm was born February 13, 1923 to Eugene and Carrie (Schriber) Bunnell in Avoca, Iowa.

While still in school, the family moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where Edwinna graduated from Tech High School, followed by graduation from business school.

Harold “Sonny” Rosholm Jr. captured her heart and they married November 21, 1942. Between the wars, they started their family, two daughters and a son. Just a couple of weeks after celebrating their 25th anniversary, Sonny passed away. Edwinna, along with her son, moved to Scottsdale, Arizona until she migrated north to Alexandria to be closer to her daughters.

She passed away at Knute Nelson care center on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the age of 89.

Edwinna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons-in-law.

She leaves behind two daughters, Terri Gustafson and Jane McCrery (Jerry) of Alexandria; and son, Drew Rosholm and his former wife, Michelle Rosholm of Mesa, Arizona. Seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren were also part of her legacy. Other survivors include her sister, Imogene Watson of Edmond, OK as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

In the spring, a life celebration will be held in Omaha, NE.

The family wishes to thank the kind and caring staff at Knute Nelson where she resided for the past two years.
